With a temporary ceasefire now in place, limited assistance can get through, but the need is overwhelming for families who have endured extreme hunger for months. A temporary ceasefire will not provide enough relief for the hundreds of thousands of people in need. That’s why we’re urgently calling for a lasting ceasefire and the uninterrupted access of humanitarian assistance as the only way to prevent more suffering.
