How We're Helping in Spain

Action Against Hunger offers employment and training programs for people at risk of social exclusion and provides financial aid to families through our food card program. Our work in Spain continues to grow, maintaining a high job placement ratio for participants and integrating a healthy living approach in all inclusion projects.

We have also scaled up our interventions in food security and made progress in monitoring food insecurity, enabling us to reach more than 8,000 people with food cards and hot meals. Additionally, for the first time, we activated our emergency response mechanism to respond to flooding in Valencia. We distributed basic necessities, hygiene kits, and cash vouchers, and carried out sanitation and debris removal activities.
